amen. but i ain’t gonna blame him. he did his best on guarding that one man show. yes, ONE MAN SHOW.

Actually, I think the and the Suns did their worst at guarding him if they allowed him to score 48 points.  I could count the total Kobe double-teams for the game with one hand.  Instead of doubling and forcing outside shots, they allowed him to get to all his sweet spots one-on-one.  Kobe was 0-3 from the arc and the Lakers shot a total 2-17 from there, not sure how the coaching staff didn’t see that.  Call him a one-man show if you want, but the Suns paid tix to see that show.

It’s all good, Suns will be back to .500 after the rest of this week’s games.

yes, i have noticed all this but did not want to point this out on a count of my optimism. haha. kobe at the baseline is deadly and they really didn’t make much effort to pull the double on him that close to the post. but to reiterate, i stated that Hill did his best as a solo defender, although I do agree that not much help was there to force the issue to push kobe out from the basket. I hope they take these next 2 home games to step up their defense to compliment their balanced offense.
